The Deputy Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly,RT.Hon. Isah Ajiji alongside his friend, Comrade Ezekiel Musa Yelwa,a very respected and reputable philanthropist as well as his aids joined other worthy Izere sons and daughters and other customers from all nooks and crannies of the state that were busy engaging in acts of buying and selling,as a well cultured and humble son of Izere soil, Isah Madaki Ajiji moved to Agwom Izere place conspicuously located at the centre of the Museum and paid homage to traditional rulers which comprises the District heads of Dong, Gyese (Tudun Wada),Kabong and Kwanga/ Rikkos, stepping of out from the Palace,he join Asharwa Dancing group which he sponsored to thrill the arena, join them in dancing and donated huge amount of money to them and as if that was not enough,the Rt. Deputy Speaker went to inspects and exchange pleasantries with all and sundry and to the chagrin of all,
He immediately assigned his Aids to move round and take the statistics and price of what everybody has either ate and drank,he then settled the bills amounting to over 200,000 naira.
The Deputy Speaker joins those around and ordered for a delicious porridge with his security details and spent more than an hour eating and gisting freely before he left.
Another Philanthropist and a lawyer of impeccable Character and easy going personality, Barrister Iliya Ashoms was also sighted by our Correspondent, moving round the market patronizing and giving some cash to women and people around the market,he was not left out,Ashoms also partook in eating the Izere delicacies.
The National President of ACCDA,Engineer Yakubu Ashoms was also captured along side his Children moving round and closely monitoring the activities around the market.
Engineer Azi Itse,Alias Zico,the National President of AYM was also excited and actively going around with Friends,some of his EXCO members and associates patronises the businesses with full of excitement.
The Clergy, Traditional rulers were not left out, that’s why the blessings of God is also around,the Chairman of the Regional Church Council,Fobur, Reverend Afan Ajang and a host of Districts and Village heads also partake at the patronage.
The Market which was established not up to a Month is now the best in and around the Jos Museum.
Our Correspondent observed that,there is a lot of renovations,innovations is taking place,digging ofa well is ongoing to tackle the water problem,there are also plans to fortifies security and land scaping of the market.
The local Izere dishes such as yam,gruel, porridge,meats such as local Chicken,local beer among others are being sold.
The Market is being observed every Friday from Morning till evening hours without any descrimination.
