Russia to Offer Scholarships to 100 Niger State Students

The Government of Saint Petersburg, Russia, has announced plans to sponsor 100 students from Niger State to study the Russian language. This was disclosed by the Governor of Saint Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, during a meeting with Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, and other state officials.
Governor Beglov also pledged to support Governor Bago’s agricultural revolution initiative and assist in exploring Niger State’s mineral potentials. The two governors discussed areas of cooperation in agriculture, education, healthcare, and cultural exchange.
Governor Bago described the scholarship offer as encouraging, noting that it will help strengthen bilateral relations between Niger State and Russia.
