Sen. Dansadau Tasks FCT Residents on Clean Environment

As the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) in Collaboration with Parks and Recreation Department, both of the federal Capital Territory Administration ( FCTA), joined other Organizations in Nigeria and the World at large to Commemorates the 2025, World Environment Day, and the official flag off of Tree Planting Campaigns.

With the outpouring of Goodwill Messages from Sisters Organizations and well-meaning Nigerians, Senator Saidu Mohammed Dansadau has also sent his Goodwill message.

Speaking to journalists at the official flag off of Tree planting Campaigns at the Board’s Head Office in Abuja, Thursday, june 5th, 2025 , the Senator who represented Zamfara Central Senatorial District between 1999 and 2007 has Commended the Board’s efforts towards ensuring a Clean City to the delight of both the residents and visitors.

The member of the 4th and 5th Senate, also pointing out that the Organization’s unwavering Commitment and dedication to it statutory responsibilities has made the Nation’s Capital to be reputed as one of the Cleanest Country’s Capital in Sub-Sahara Africa.

While applauding Government’s efforts in providing the necessary infrastructure, Sen. Saidu also implored residents to uphold environmental friendly practices, such as effective management of waste to give the Federal Capital Territory the sight it deserved.

Sen. Saidu hailed the tree planting initiative of the Abuja Environmental Protection Board, Saying, it remains the most effective way to Sustain a friendly environment , more so that the World is faced with the effects of Climate Change, he noted.
