Sen. Smart Adeyemi mourns the passing of Hajiya Alfa Rakiya Usman.

Sen. Adeyemi commiserated with the immediate family, friends, political associates and Owe Community on the demise of Hajiya Rakiya Usman Alfa who passed on at her London residence after a brief illness

Sen. Smart in his condolence message described Hajiya Rakiya’s death as a great loss to her family, Kabba Community and Kogi State at large describing her as a Loving , cheerful kind, accommodating and a true democrat who was committed towards the emacipation of the women in the state and did all she could within her strength for the people at various levels without sentiment.

Hajiya Rakiyah was a leader in her own class during her time who was committed to Youths and women empowerments without sentiment. She loved everyone around her both within and outside Kabba Kogi State. She was an advocate for fairness, justice and equity towards improved standard of living of the people. Her departure was soul depressing and shocking in a time like this in Nigeria.

Sen. Smart pray God grants the soul of our beloved sister eternal rest, give her family, Owe Community, Kogi State and Nigerian women the strength to bear her unexpected departure.
