SENATE CONFIRMS AMB. SOLA ENIKANOLAIYE CON AS MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Yesterday, His Excellency, Chief Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, appeared before the Nigerian Senate for his confirmation screening as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The screening marks a significant chapter in Ambassador sola Enikanolaiye distinguished career in diplomacy and public service, and reflects the confidence reposed in him by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, to contribute to the nation’s foreign policy direction.

Before the Senate, Ambassador Enikanolaiye articulated his vision for strengthening Nigeria’s bilateral and multilateral engagements, advancing economic diplomacy, and protecting the interests of Nigerians in the diaspora.

His extensive experience in international relations, coupled with his track record of service, drew commendation from senators across party lines.

The proceedings were conducted with decorum, with lawmakers acknowledging his depth of knowledge, composure, and commitment to national interest.

His nomination was seen as a strategic move to reinforce Nigeria’s standing on the global stage at a time when diplomatic leadership is critical to economic and security partnerships.

Following the screening, the Nigerian Senate has confirmed His Excellency, Chief Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye CON, as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
