Senator Garba Musa Maidoki Distributes 650 Life Jackets to Enhance Safety in Kebbi South.

In a remarkable display of commitment to the safety and well-being of his constituents, Senator Garba Musa Maidoki, representing Kebbi South Senatorial District, has distributed 650 life jackets to residents of Yauri Emirate. The distribution covered three Local Government Areas: Ngaski, Shanga, and Yauri, where a majority of the population resides in riverine communities vulnerable to water-related accidents.
Ngaski Local Government received 145 pieces, Shanga got 140, and Yauri was allocated 135 life jackets. Recognizing the strategic importance of safeguarding lives, Senator Maidoki also provided 110 life jackets to the Emirate Council. Out of this, 20 were given directly to the Emirate, 80 were distributed to district heads, and 10 were allocated to the Sarkin Ruwa.

Additionally, the Senator prioritized security by allocating 50 life jackets to Marine Police and other security agencies. Prominent supporters who have been instrumental in advancing the Senator’s agenda were not left out, as 100 life jackets were allocated to them as a gesture of appreciation.
During the distribution ceremony, thousands of residents from the three Local Government Areas expressed their gratitude to Senator Maidoki for his kind gesture. Speaking to Democracy Newsline Newspaper, Malam Sani Yakubu, a resident of Yauri, praised the initiative, stating that the life jackets would enhance safety and assured that they would be put to proper use.
The Sarkin Ruwa also commended the Senator for his efforts, describing the intervention as a “wonderful job” that addresses a critical need in the region.
Senator Garba Musa Maidoki has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the safety and development of his constituents, vowing to leave no stone unturned in addressing their needs. This initiative marks yet another milestone in his dedication to improving the lives of the people in Kebbi South Senatorial District.
