SENATOR KARIMI: A CHAMPION OF KOGI WEST’S INTEREST, DELIVERING ON PROMISES

Contrary to recent misinformation peddled by naysayers, Senator Sunday Karimi of Kogi West Senatorial district has not neglected his constituents. In fact, he has been working tirelessly to deliver on his campaign promises, and improving the lives of his constituents.

Senator Karimi’s achievements in just one year are a testament to his dedication and commitment to his constituents. Some of his notable achievements includes:

– Facilitating the Iluhagba-Egbe federal road palliative repairs, with ₦500 million budgeted for 2024 to complete the project.

– Initiating a ₦2 billion project to improve educational infrastructure in Kogi Local Government.

– Distributing two tranches of palliatives: a trailer load of rice to each local government area and Semovita across the districts.

– Providing support to victims of natural disasters, including in Lokoja, Kogi, and Yagba.

– Initiating a student scholarship program, benefiting at least 4,000 students with ₦100,000 each for a period of four years.

– Facilitating employment opportunities for youths in Police Academy (POLAC), police recruitment, army, FERMA, and other federal agencies.

– Constructing a military mini-barracks at the Kogi-Kwara boundary, enhancing security in the region.

These achievements demonstrate clearly that Senator Karimi’s has in the last one year focuses on the welfare of his constituents and his determination to address their needs.

It is on records that he has been engaging with his constituents regularly, listening to their concerns, and working to address them as it arises.

We therefore, urge the general public to disregard all the misinformations peddled by naysayers against Senator Karimi who is seen and described by many as champion of Kogi West’s interest demonstrating his connection with the people he serves at the legislative chamber.

Senator Karimi is no doubt a true representation of the people and have been working hard to deliver on his promises and improve lives.
