The initiative has been lauded by beneficiaries, who describe Senator Kawu Sumaila as a compassionate leader who prioritizes the welfare of his constituents. “Senator Kawu Sumaila is a man of the people. He understands our needs and is always willing to help,” said one of the recipients. The distribution of motorcycles is expected to ease transportation challenges and enhance income generation for the youth, particularly in rural areas.

Recognizing the critical role women played in his election, Senator Kawu Sumaila also distributed 272 sewing machines to women across the Senatorial district. He emphasized that women in Kano South were instrumental in his electoral victory, and this contribution is part of his commitment to improving their livelihoods through skills development and economic empowerment. “Women played a major role in bringing me into office, and I am committed to giving back to them in meaningful ways,” the Senator stated.

In a move to further boost agriculture, which remains a priority for Senator Kawu Sumaila, he distributed watering generators to peasant farmers in the district. The support is aimed at improving irrigation and increasing productivity for farmers who rely on subsistence agriculture.

Senator Abdulrahaman Kawu Sumaila’s efforts have been widely commended by residents of Kano South, who appreciate his dedication to improving the socio-economic conditions of his constituents. His initiatives are seen as a testament to his commitment to ensuring that the people of Kano South continue to thrive under his leadership.
