Senator Smart Adeyemi Announces the Death of his mother, Princess Victoria Adeyemi
Senator Smart Adeyemi who represented Kogi West Senatorial District in the 6th, 7th and 9th National Assembly has announced the passing into glory of his beloved mother, Prince Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi at her private residence in Abuja.
In a message signed by his Senior Personal Assistant, Kayode Olorunmotito and made available to newsmen in Abuja, stressing that late Princess Victoria departed this life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the ripe age of 88.
“It is with profound sadness that the Adeyemi Family of Iyara in Ijumu Local Government Area announces the passing of their beloved matriarch, Princess Victoria, Dada, Kemiloye, JP Adeyemi”
According to him, Princess Victoria Adeyemi was born in Iyara to the Royal Family of Ibilola of Ilupa, pointed out that she dedicated her life to the service of God and left an indelible mark on those who knew her.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, and her legacy will continue to inspire her family and community.
Late Princess Victoria was married to Pa Solomon Adeyemi of the Royal Family of Araromi quarters in Iyara and had six children.

She spent over 45 years in Minna, Niger State, before relocating to Abuja, where she passed on.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and brother, among whom us Senator Smart Adeyemi.
The family will communicate details of her final rites of passage in due course.
The passing of Princess Victoria Adeyemi is a significant loss to her family and community. However, her legacy of devotion, service, and love will continue to be celebrated by those who knew her. May her soul rest in peace.
