Eid al-Adha: Sen. Karimi Urges Nigerians to Work Towards Unity and Progress

By Samuel Temiloluwa – Lokoja

As Nigerians celebrate Eid al-Adha, Senator Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, has called on citizens to redouble their efforts towards promoting unity and progress in the district and the country at large.

In a statement issued to newsmen, Sen. Karimi emphasized the significance of the Eid al-Adha celebration, which serves as a reminder of the importance of repentance, forgiveness, and unity.

He urged Kogites, particularly those in the Kogi West Senatorial District, to be steadfast in their love for one another and to work towards what is just and right for their district.

Sen. Karimi also called on Muslim faithfuls to intensify their prayers for peace in the country and admonished religious leaders to guide their followers properly. He assured that the National Assembly would continue to be guided by the wishes and aspirations of Nigerians in its law-making endeavors.

The Senator congratulated President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo, and Muslims in Kogi State, particularly those in Kogi West, for their support for the APC-led administration. He prayed for God to grant the faithful many more years of celebrating Eid al-Adha and urged them to be moderate in their celebrations, taking care of one another during these economically challenging times.

Sen. Karimi’s Eid al-Adha message serves as a reminder of the importance of unity, peace, and good governance in Nigeria. As Nigerians celebrate this sacred occasion, they are encouraged to work towards a brighter future for themselves and their country.
