Senator Sunday Karimi Means well for Kogi West Constituents – Femi Omoga

A Chieftain of the governing All Progressives Congress in the Kabba-Bunu local government area, and Abuja-based business mogul who served as Coordinator for Sunday Karimi in the last Senatorial election, Hon. Owoniyi Femi Omoga has assured the people of the Senatorial District that Senator Sunday Karimi’s tenure will be impactful because he means well.

He disclosed this in a chat with our correspondent via a telephone interview, describing the false alarm being raised by some youth groups in Kabba as not necessary considering what is in the pipeline for the entire district.

He said Senator Karimi is a humane personality that attaches importance to every segment of the Senatorial district, stressing that he is working with all stakeholders hence no part will be left behind in the disbursement of the dividends of democracy.

He acknowledged the fact that the Senator has distributed bags of rice and semolina at different times “I have received 750 bags of 50kg on two occasions and 750 bags of semovita from the senator for distribution across the 15 wards of Kabba-Bunu local government area. I urge the people to be patient with him as it is public knowledge that the National Assembly has extended the implementation of the capital budget for 2023 to December 2024”

He said not too long ago the Senator facilitated the installation of 30 solar panel street lights along the Kabba central market through Nigeria Port Authority and pointed out that the project has since been delivered.

Hon. Omoga said the hundred million naira (#100,000,000) student’s bursary scheme which will be disbursed shortly is another milestone for the people’s representative aside from other gigantic projects already included in the 2024 capital projects across the seven local government areas.

He reiterated the determination and commitment of the senator to reach all the nooks and crannies of the district and pointed out that before the end of this month, each local government will receive five units of solar power boreholes and five 500kva transformers to boost the water and energy supply to the populace.

Hon Omoga said that the senator is a man with undisputable track records while he served as a member of the House of Representatives for Yagba Federal Constituency, stressing that he is not a one-sided representative who will prefer one above another. He urged the people to give him their maximum support and cooperation to succeed.
