Only 55 out of the serving 105 senators in the Senate, secured return tickets from the primary elections conducted by their respective political parties as Senatorial candidates for the 2027 general elections.

This is as it always happens in every general election cycle , some of the 55 Senators not making it in the January 16, 2027 National Assembly and presidential election which would invariably lead to high turnover of Senators in the 11th National Assembly.
