Senator Sunday Steve Karimi Celebrates Female Folks on International Women’s Day 2025

Today, on International Women’s Day, the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sen. Sunday Steve Karimi has joined his voice with the rest of the world to celebrate our mothers, our sisters, our daughters, our colleagues and our friends who wake up each day, work hard to make the world a better place.

In his words, “I want to specially celebrate all the women, who have played, contributes and continue to playing their part in the development of our dear Country. This women in every sector, in every way, and at every point of our daily activities whether the young girl, the active mother or the aged, have contributed significantly to the history, development and progress of our dear Country.

“As a father to a beautiful, hardworking and patriotic girl; a husband to a lovely, supportive, virtuous and charismatic wife; a colleague to also illustrious women in my career; and a son to the best, caring, hardworking mother in the whole world, I witness firsthand, the strength, the resilience, the determination and sacrifice women make to achieve whatever they are determined to achieve. I see their impact in all areas of human endeavor, and testify to their resilience, their bravery, and their ability to get things done.
