Senator Sunday Steve Karimi Distributes Palliatives to Kabba/Bunu Local Government Residents

March 28, 2025

Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, in a bid to alleviate the challenges faced by his constituents during the holy month of Ramadan which coincide with the lent season has distributed palliative support to the residents of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area.

The distribution exercise, aimed at assisting the less privileged, was coordinated through his dedicated Kabba/Bunu Local Government Coordinator, Hon. Femi Omoga.

The event was graced by the Kabba/Bunu Local Government Chairman, Hon. Barr. Zaccheaus Dare Michael, who was present alongside his appointees.

Also in attendance were the APC Local Government Executives, Ward Executives, party leaders, and other stakeholders within the community, all of whom played key roles in ensuring the success of the distribution.

Senator Karimi’s timely gesture is aimed at reducing the economic burden many face during this period of fasting for both faiths.

His commitment at improving the living conditions of the people within the Local Government has been consistent, and the distribution is a continuation of his relentless effort to bring relief to those in need.

The distribution of semovita was carried out in a transparent manner, ensuring that the benefits reached the most vulnerable members of the community, particularly those struggling with the financial pressures of the season.

In his remarks, Senator Karimi expressed his solidarity with the people of Kabba/Bunu, noting that Ramadan and lent season is a time for reflection, charity, and sharing, and that it is important to support those who may be facing difficulties.

He further emphasized that this is just one of the many ways his office is committed to positively impacting the lives of the residents.

The event also saw speeches from various leaders within the local government, with Hon. Barr. Zaccheaus Dare Michael commending the Senator for his continuous support and leadership in the region.

He noted that such initiatives help foster unity, peace, and development within the local government.

As the distribution event came to a close, the gratitude of the residents was palpable, with many expressing their appreciations to Senator Karimi for his kindness and support during the holy month.

The successful distribution reaffirms the Senator’s commitment  at  ensuring that his people are not left behind, especially during a time that calls for compassion and care.
