Stop the Propaganda, Fagbemi’s Resignation from KDU Executive Committee is personal to him
Re: Online -Bobinihi KDU’s Vice-President Home Mathew Fagbemi Resigns
It is imperative to debunk some of the misinformation always reeled out by some illegal and unscrupulous elements parading themselves as spokespeople of the grossly illegal KDU executive members led by Mr Kabiru Fadile, especially concerning the resignation of Mr Ade Fagbemi from the legitimately and constitutionally constituted executive body of KDU led by Mr Emmanuel Bobinihi as affirmed by the BOT, Clan Heads, Traditional Rulers and Stakeholders at home and abroad.
Those who have decided to throw caution to the wind for inordinate and criminal intentions, plan to hijack the administration of KDU through coup d’etat which was grossly alien to the body politic of our most cherished KDU.
(1) To refer to the conduct of the very transparent online election as illegal by the hungry publisher is to say the least laughable. If he is not a poor student of history, he would remember that he started his journalism by publishing hard copies of his news for sale but today, he has gone online. The only constant thing in life is change.
(2) Resignation of anyone from any cabinet is quite voluntary and only people who are mean, myopic and illiterate would make a fuss about of it.
(3) The reason given to the Bobinihi led KDU Executive by Mr Fagbemi is personal to him, contrary to the unfounded claims by the publisher which could be better described as the figment of the imagination of the hungry spokesperson and publisher
(4 Mr Fagbemi’s letter of resignation was received and he has been immediately replaced with a more competent and functional Owe patriot.
(5) According to the scriptures, ‘in your anger, do not sin’. On this premise, the obviously junk spokesperson and publisher should be advised to play responsible journalism and refrain from relishing in inimical acts capable of hitting up the polity in Owe, as Owe land belongs to us all and we stand to benefit nothing from setting everyone on collision course for selfish reasons.
It is quite unfathomable to see people making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Kehinde Owohunwa,
National Secretary, KDU
