Surveyor Samuel Timothy, Popularly known as SAM 3, is a distinguished leader whose life embodies excellence, leadership, and selfless service to humanity. Hailing from Kogi West, Kogi State, he has distinguished himself as a seasoned professional in surveying and a transformative figure in sports administration in Nigeria.
He has served meritoriously as Chairman of the Board of Referees of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation and currently holds the esteemed office of Technical Director, where his expertise continues to contribute significantly to the development and advancement of volleyball in Nigeria.
In his professional calling as a surveyor, he has demonstrated exceptional precision, integrity, and dedication, contributing meaningfully to land development, mapping, and spatial planning with outstanding professionalism.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, his greatest impact lies in human development and empowerment. Through his mentorship and commitment to youth development, no fewer than 13 to 15 indigenes of Ogori have participated in the Nigeria Volleyball Premier League across Divisions I and II. Notably, two have proudly represented Nigeria on the international stage, while several others have secured employment opportunities through volleyball.
Fondly called “Prolific,” SAM 3 has consistently demonstrated productivity, vision, and a deep commitment to community advancement. His contributions continue to inspire excellence, discipline, and hope among the younger generation.
