Swearing In: Kogi Speaker Congratulates Nigeria 16th President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR

The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Prince) Matthew Kolawole has congratulated the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON on the occasion of their swearing in today at the Eagles Square to take charge of the ship of Nigeria.

Rt Hon Mathew Kolawole disclosed this in a press statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.

According to him, there is no doubt in his mind that the Tinubu led administration at the national level will perform well, considering his antecedents while he held sway as the Governor of Lagos State hence his combination with his vice, Senator Kashim Shettima will work miracle.

He therefore urged Nigerians to give them the maximum cooperation and support for the new government to work well.

He said Nigerians should have hope in the renewed hope of the new government which he believes will consolidate on the areas where the outgoing government really performed well and advised the new administration to address those areas that need urgent attention like the youth unemployment, corruptions, insecurity and other challenges that are confronting Nigerians on daily basis, pointing out that the government needs to gain the confidence of the citizens for it to work well.

He congratulated them on behalf of his family, the people of Kabba/Bunu state Constituency, the entire members of the 7th Assembly, management and staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly as well as prayed that God will grant them the needed wisdom, understanding and good health to pilot the affairs of the nation to a greater heights.
