The Legend Club of Okunland Honored as Best Cultural Club of the Year 2025

The Legend Club of Okunland has been recognized as the Best Cultural Club of the Year 2025, a testament to its dedication to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Okun people, a Yoruba sub-ethnic group in Kogi State, Nigeria.
The club’s President, Dr. (Engr.) Olubiyo Femi, a revered cultural advocate and engineer, has led the club to national recognition through visionary leadership. Under his guidance, the club has bridged generational gaps, encouraging youth to connect with their roots while embracing modernity.
Representing the club at the award ceremony was Hon. Segun Abereoran aka MC Sege Dudu, a cultural icon known for promoting African traditions through entertainment and public engagement.
While commending the organizers of Okun Radio Network for recognizing the group, appreciating the acknowledgment of their efforts in Impactful community engagements, Cultural awareness programs, Youth empowerment projects and Promoting unity and identity among the Okun people
He said the recognition highlights the commitment of the club to making a positive difference in the community and preserving the cultural heritage.
