THE NEED TO GIVE OUR MANDATE TO DR. IDRIS OLUWAFEMI RUFUS (IDRUFEM) IN KABBA/BUNU/IJUMU FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY – 2027
Fellow brothers and sisters of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu,
The time has come for us to be intentional. Representation is not a gift, it is a mandate. And a mandate must be given to who will value it.
We must give our mandate to Dr. Idris Oluwafemi Rufus, IDRUFEM, for five clear reasons:

COMPETENCE OVER SENTIMENT:
Idrufem is educated, exposed and experienced at the grassroots. He is not learning on the job. He has managed people, managed resources, and managed communities. Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu does not need a bench-warmer in Abuja. We need a legislator who can sponsor bills, attract projects and speak for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu peope.
ACCESSIBILITY OVER ABSENTEEISM:
We have suffered absentee representation for too long. Reps who only come during Ileya or Christmas. Idrufem lives among us. From Iluke to Kabba, from Iyara to Aiyetoro, from Oke-Offin to Egbeda-Egga , Otu/Egunbe to Obele- Fadile Juction to Iyah Kabba, Dada Oni Car to Fehinti along Aiyere road, Odolu to Iyamoye, he is reachable. If you give him a mandate, you can see him to account for it.
EQUITY AND JUSTICE – BUNU LOKAN:
For fairness, it is the turn of Bunu District. Since returning to democracy, Bunu has been shortchanged in the House of Reps equation. Giving the mandate to Idrufem, a proud Son of Iluke-Bunu, is not favour, it is correcting injustice. Kabba has produced, Ijumu has produced, now let Bunu produce through Idrufem.
TRACK RECORD BEFORE TICKET:
Before the ADC ticket, before 2027 noise, Idrufem was already working:
– Food Bank Initiative feeding thousands across 30 wards.
– Women empowerment in Iyara-Ijumu from his own pocket.
– Support for cultural festivals in Bunu land to promote our identity.
– Respect and homage to all our traditional stools.
– Payment for Vigilante and Local Security to curb insecurity.
– Changing the Youths Orientation from olden days farm practices to Modernise farming by training our Youths
He did not wait for mandate to serve. Imagine what he will do with mandate.
YOUTH AND FUTURE:
Our Federal Constituency is youthful, but our representation has been elderly. Idrufem represents the new Okun dream – youthful energy, new ideas, digital understanding, respect for elders. If we give youth the mandate today, youth will secure our future tomorrow.
Therefore, as Okun people yearning for effective representation, let us not waste this golden opportunity. Let us not sell our mandate for peanuts. Let us invest it in a man who will multiply it.
