The Spirit of Patriotism: Let’s Unite for Kogi’s Growth

Baiye Sunday Folorunsho

As I reflect on what drives me and many others to keep pushing for a better Kogi State, I am reminded of the power of patriotism. It is the love for our beloved state, the confluence of opportunities, that fuels our passion to contribute to its growth.

In a world where negativity and criticism can easily take center stage, I have made a conscious decision to stand out. I refuse to join the chorus of those who seek to bring down our state. Instead, I choose to be a part of the solution, to add value to the progress we are making.

Kogi State is rising, and progress is assured. But we cannot achieve this alone. We need the collective efforts of Kogites, both at home and in the diaspora, to join forces and make our state a beacon of hope and development.

To His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the decision-makers, I say thank you for your tireless efforts to move our state forward. We see your work, and we appreciate your dedication.

But we must not leave it to the government alone. We, as citizens, have a responsibility to contribute to the growth of our state. We must join forces to make Kogi State a place where opportunities abound, where education, healthcare, and economic empowerment thrive.

Let us unite in our pursuit of a better Kogi State. Let us be the change we seek. Let us show the world what it means to be a true Kogite – proud, resilient, and determined.

Together, we can achieve greatness. Together, we will make Kogi State the envy of all.
