Through Thick and Thin: Engr. Bashir Gegu’s Unwavering Loyalty to Yahaya Bello

In the world of politics, loyalty is a rare commodity. However, Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu’s loyalty and commitment to former Governor Yahaya Bello is like a warm hug that never lets go – even when the going gets tough. This is evident in the fact that despite the EFCC allegations against Yahaya bello, he has remained steadfast in his support, like a rock that refuses to budge.

As a key member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Bashir Gegu has been one of the party’s secret sauce, helping to solidify its position in Kogi State. His grassroots mobilization skills are so sharp that he could give a crash course on “How to Win Friends and Influence People.”

But what’s even more impressive is Engr. Bashir Gegu’s long-standing relationship with Yahaya Bello. It’s like they’re two old friends who’ve been through thick and thin together. Former Governor Yahaya Bello appointed Engr. Bashir Gegu as Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources in 2020, and Engr. Bashir Gegu has been repaying that trust ever since. No double standing!

In fact, Engr. Bashir Gegu’s retention of his position under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in 2024 is a testament to his value as a reliable and committed public servant.

He’s like the ultimate team player, always ready to lend a helping hand (or a loyal voice) whenever duty calls.

So, I celebrate Engr. Bashir Gegu – a man of unwavering loyalty, unshakeable commitment, and unrelenting dedication to the causes he believes in.

Through the fire and the rain, Engr. Bashir Gegu’s loyalty to Yahaya Bello is a beacon of hope and inspiration to those who value commitment and devotion.

Congratulations! The Storm is Over!
