‘Use music to dislodge parochial sentiments’ – Dr. Usman Ogbo charges Kogi entertainers

…As Entertainment Committee holds inaugural Party for APC Governorship Campaign Council

The Chairman, Directorate of Research and Planning of the Kogi APC Governorship Campaign Council, Dr. Salisu Usman Ogbo was among the dignitaries that graced the inaugural party organized by the Entertainment Committee to drum support for Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman’s candidacy.

The party was held on Thursday 5th October, 2023 at the Glass House, Government House Lokoja, Kogi State.

The spectacular inaugural party was attended by top government officials including the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike, Commissioner for Information, Evangelist Kingsley Fanwo, Commissioner for Education, Wemi Jones, critical stakeholders and other prominent appointees of the state government featured live music, dance, and culinary delights.

Dr. Usman who discussed extensively on the “Merit of the choice of Ododo Ahmed Usman for Kogi in the next dispensation” said the APC Guber candidate has learned governance and administration over the years and would not hesitate to continue and consolidate on the gains and achievements of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello across various sectors of the state when elected.

Drawing inferences from how continuity and consolidation has sustained and placed Lagos State as one of the fastest growing cities since 1999 in Nigeria, Dr. Usman expressed optimism on the candidacy of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman to placing Kogi State on global pedestal.

He commended the giant strides of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello especially in the area of Entertainment, Education and as well for breaking the record of establishing two (2) state university in less than (4) years of the second phase of the New Direction led administration and for rescuing Kogi State University now Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba from the incessant academic strikes experienced in the past to having predictable academic calendar.

Dr. Usman charged show biz artists to use their crafts to dislodge any parochial sentiments and propaganda being professed by the elites and oppositions while suing electorates to embracing Kogi Agenda for the overall benefits of all.

“I am impressed and proud of the efforts of entertainment committee to make the event a success and for coming with this initiative that will further strengthen our unity as a Kogites” he expressed.
