The All Progressives Congress (APC) is at a defining moment. As two-term Governor of Kogi State, Bello led one of Nigeria’s most diverse states with fairness and firmness. He built not just infrastructure but people, empowering young men and women and giving them a platform in leadership. This people-first approach is what APC needs to reconnect with its base, especially the youth.
The party currently struggles with internal divisions and disconnection in some states. Bello has the energy and maturity to rebuild unity and trust. At 50, he bridges generations and speaks both to the old guard and the rising generation of progressives.

Choosing him as National Chairman would also signal inclusiveness, especially to the North-Central, a region that has been loyal to the APC but often overlooked in national party roles. His close relationship with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and early support for his candidacy shows rare political courage and loyalty.
More than ever, APC needs a grounded, fearless, and visionary leader; someone who understands the grassroots and can prepare the party for the road to 2027. Yahaya Bello fits that profile perfectly.
