Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Housing and Habitat, has expressed strong confidence that the National Assembly will pass the Tax Reform Bills proposed by President Bola Tinubu. Speaking on TVC’s “Politics Today” program, Jibrin emphasized that the bills, alongside other economic policies, demonstrate the President’s commitment to securing a better future for Nigerians.
Jibrin made it clear that he had no doubts about the bills’ passage, saying, “We will pass the tax reform bills.” His statement came just a day after the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) urged lawmakers from the region to reject the proposed bills, highlighting a growing debate on the issue.
