Team Bash, E-BAG, Bello Vanguard and Kogi LGA Excos and Ward Executives across 11 Wards of Kogi LGA have asked Barr. Tanko Osuku, the chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission to withdraw a derogatory statement made against the most outstanding, workerholic, result oriented Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural resources Engr Bashir Gegu.
That Bashir Gegu has no hands in his suspension by the Executives of the party because of anti party activities.
The various groups added that even a blind man knows the efforts Engr Bashir Gegu put in pre election, during election and after elections. He was there for the party physically and financially.
As for the election funds by the party, the channels of disbursement was open to the public with facts. We are in a digital age as such all the funds were traced to participatory leaders across board against Barr. Tanko claims.
It’s evidential that Engr Bashir Gegu led other leaders to the victory of APC in Kogi LGA 100 percent.
Engr Bashir Gegu was instrumental to APC victory in all elections in his unit, Ward and majority units in Kogi LGA. He equally oversees the collation of result in Lokoja LGA.
Engr Bashir Gegu is the strength of APC in Kogi State just as his Boss GYB is the strength of APC in Nigeria. So any attempt to drag his name to the mud will never be accepted.
Barr. Tanko Osuku should defend himself for not being able to deliver all to APC in his units during the elections, results are evidences.
Barr. Tanko Osuku as a lawyer should be able to feed the public with truthful information.
Barr. Tanko Osuku was in the past accused over allegations considered unsubstantiated. When Engr Bashir was contacted for an investigation, he said ” I am not a lawyer but any accusation without evidence I can not and will not investigate ” this is the kind of man Engr Bashir is.
So let Barrister Tanko as a lawyer do his investigation with facts and evidence before coming to conclusion about the allegations he made against the person and dignity of Engr Bashiru Gegu.
We challenge Barrister Tanko Osuku to please take the matter to the party in the state so that he may understand better. The money was disbursed by the POS operators to various leaders across the eleven wards. It will also interest the public that the POS agents have published the names of the leaders the funds were transferred to, he equally said their phone numbers and amount will be made available.
The House of Assembly elect Hon Idrees Aliyu when contacted against Barrister Tanko Osuku claims, he said he directed the party in the state to send her election logistics support to a POS agent named Sultanate Internet Banking for ease of disbursement to various wards through their leaders and he confirmed it was done 100 percent.
We want to use this medium to appreciate Engr Bashir Gegu for his total contribution and support during campaign, election and even now, he ran an independent campaign for the APC with his personal funds across the nooks and crannies of the LGA, May the Almighty continue to bless him.
