Woro 13 of the Abducted Victims In Kwara Still Missing

The National Chairman of Kaiama Development Association Alhaji Yakubu Salihu says thirteen persons are currently missing out of the returned Woro victims in Kwara state.
Salihu stated this while speaking on a local Television station monitored in Ilorin.
According to him “We have records that 163 victims returned as against 176 persons that were abducted,so thirteen persons are currently unaccounted for.
He also said that some of the women are now pregnant while some have given birth to new babies during the six months in captivity.
Salihu further said that the state government is already arranging for the victims to be transported to ilorin and properly resettle them
“Hopefully by Friday they’ll be moved back to ilorin.”he stressed.
The community leader also urged the state government to repair all the three roads leading to Kaiama because they’re impassable.
”Four roads leading to Kaiama,are in deplorable conditions,so we are appealing to the state government to fix them “he pleaded
He also urged the Federal Government to fast-track the establishment of a Nigerian Army battalion in the area, stressing that a permanent military presence is essential to prevent future attacks and restore public confidence.
Salihu also commended the Federal Government and security agencies for their efforts in securing the victims’ release but stressed that lasting peace would only be achieved through stronger and sustained security measures.
