Creative Artists in Nigeria has been urged to be Persistently Consistent in what ever they do, as their legacies was not in the finished product but in that process that heralded the final results.
The above Statement was the message delivered by an African Creative Entrepreneur, Onye Obanatu at the Abuja Photo festival 2024, with the theme”,Rhythm of Resilience “held at the Exhibition Pavilion opposite Radio House, Area 10 Garki, Abuja.
Onye further pointed out that, it was through Consistency in their various craft that Creative Artist Could get recognition, appreciation and most importantly a better understanding of their artistic work, he said.
” You need to keep doing that thing you’ve Connected to, art is not Something people understand on the first Contact, the more you are Consistent one day people will Catch up with it
He urged upcoming Artists to remain focused, Persevere and remain Consistent and never give up in whatever they do, Stressing that Artist would definitely get to the limelight if they Seized not to give up in demonstrating their talent.
Ubanatu opined that connectivity of Creative Entrepreneurs was key if the nation must Surmount it Socio- economic and technological woes, as it provides opportunity for entrepreneurs in the Country to share ideas, opinions on individuals skills and knowledge towards overcoming their various Challenges and that of the nation as a whole.
Reacting to question on what inspired the Giveaway of Some photographic and Vidiographic Equipment at the Abuja Photo festival, Onye Obanatu said the Giveaway was an inspiration from God, and was never meant for personal glorification and gratification, pointing out that, impacting lives positively has been his Source of motivation,.
Continuing, he Said they are looking forward for more partnership and Collaborations with other Organizations both private and public towards making future edition of the Abuja Photo festival more Successful.
