2 Okun Unity Summit: ODA will continue to partner with reputable organizations like ODI – Amb. Akenson Rotimi
The Okun Development Association (ODA) has reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with reputable organizations like the Okun Development Initiative (ODI) to drive development and progress in Okunland.
This was disclosed yesterday by the President-General of the ODA, Ambassador Akenson Rotimi while delivering his open remarks at the second Okun Nation’s Summit with the theme: Okun Unity: the Power of One Voice, The Strength of Many Hands organized by Okun Development Initiative (ODI) to discuss the way forward for the entire zone.
According to him, such partnerships are crucial in addressing the region’s challenges and unlocking its full potential, pointing out that the ODA being the umbrella body that drives the developments of the area will be readily available to work with organizations that will collaborate with it in order to accelerate development.
He said the current state of the area especially on security, economic challenges and lack of infrastructure called for concerted efforts by all well-meaning individuals and organizations to work together in addressing the situations for the benefit of the people, stressing that fostering a sense of unity among Okun people, ODA and ODI can work towards in achieving collective goals and promoting development in the region
He commended ODI for their focus and share commitment towards the development of the area, emphasizing that there is no conflict of interest between the two bodies rather they will continue to collaborate for the greater good of the people to achieve developments which is the main objectives of ODA
