4 years in Mind: Otunba Olayemi Pays Tribute to late Mother, Mrs Margaret Olayemi (1945-2021)

Four years have passed since you left us, dear Mother, but the ache in our heart remains.

Today, we take a moment to reflect on the incredible person you were and the profound impact you had on our life.

Your unwavering love, guidance, and support shaped us into the person we are today.

Your kindness, generosity, and compassion inspired us to be a better human being.

Your strength and resilience in the face of adversity taught us to persevere and never give up.

We cherish the memories of our laughter, our tears, and our quiet moments together. We remember the way you smiled, the way you hugged us, and the way you made us feel like we were the most important person in the world.

Though you may be gone, your legacy lives on through us and the countless lives you touched. Your love, wisdom, and spirit continue to guide us, and we strive every day to make you proud.

Rest in peace, dear Mother. We miss you more than words can express, but we take comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain and that you are watching over us from above.

On behalf of the entire family, we say, continue to rest in the bossom of the Almighty, late Mrs Margaret Olayemi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs and Social Development, Kogi State (2003-2011)

Signed:
Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi
