ADC State Chairman, Adaji John Confirms the leadership of Ayodeji Olumudi and Alaga Olorundami in Kabba-Bunu and Ijumu local government areas
The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi State, Comrade Adaji John has confirmed Ayodeji Olumudi and Alaga Olorundami as the leaders of the party in their respective local government areas.
This was disclosed in a press statement signed by the Acting Secretary of the party in the state which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja, appealing to them not to be discouraged in working for the growth and progress of the party.
He noted with dismay the way and manner some politicians pursue their personal interests above the collective interest of the party, pointing out that any of the party Executive Members found wanting in any form of anti-party activities will be disciplined in line with the party’s laid down rules and regulations.
He said the party has received complaints from the two local government areas and a Committee has already been put in place to look into complaints and anyone caught in the web will be punished.
He said going forward the party will be dealing with Ayodeji Olumudi and Alaga Olorundami as the authentic leaders of their areas having contested for election on the platform of the party, hence they are more known to the party than those who currently claimed to be leaders without any meaningful contributions to the party.
