AJEBAMIDELE IJESA COMMUNITY URGES ADELEKE TO TAR ROAD TO BOOST ECONOMIC GROWTH

The people of Ajebamidele Ijesa community in Atakunmosa East Local Government of Osun State are calling on Governor Adeleke to prioritize the tarring of the Ajebamidele road, which connects Ifewara and Ayinrin Ijesa.

This appeal was made during the final burial ceremony of Alajebamidele 1, His Royal Highness Oba Peter Adediji Aremu Adeyokunnu.

Community leaders, including Prince Adediji Adebambo, Mr. Gbenga Gabriel, High Chief Oginni Oloruntoyin, Mr. E. Money, Mr. Komolafe Oluwole, Mr. Adeyemi Sesan, High Chief Amos Oyeleye, and Pastor Timothew Adepoju, emphasized that the road’s development would significantly boost Osun State’s economy. They highlighted the community’s rich agricultural resources, including cocoa, kolanut, palm oil, and banana, which could reduce the state’s reliance on monthly allocations.

The community leaders praised Oba Peter Adeyokunnu’s reign, describing it as meaningful with numerous achievements, including the elevation of the Alajebamidele stool to the position of Oba. They also commended his philanthropy and generosity, noting that he donated over 50% of contributions towards the town’s development.

Additionally, they expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for initiatives aimed at revitalizing the cocoa industry, hoping it would bring prosperity to cocoa farmers.
