Alhaji Isah Osagie Bags Humanitarian Service Award

By Ahiaba Douglas – Abuja

The Senior Special Adviser to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Alhaji Isah Osagie, has been honoured with a Humanitarian Service Award for his contributions to the promotion of Islam and humanitarian causes.
The award was presented by the Ridwanullahi Ak’bar Society of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Imam Akorede Foundation, during their 2025 Annual Maulud, Award and Turbaning Ceremony, held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Foundation’s headquarters in Kagini, within the Abuja Municipal Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
Speaking after receiving the award, Alhaji Osagie expressed gratitude for the recognition, describing it as a significant honour, particularly because it was bestowed by a religious organisation devoted to the service of Allah. He reaffirmed his commitment to humanitarian service, noting that the award would further motivate him to deepen his contributions to society.
According to him, humanity should always take precedence in all endeavours, adding that his inspiration for humanitarian service was drawn from Imam Akorede, whose dedication to humanity and service to Allah he described as exemplary.
Alhaji Osagie also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Honourable Festus Keyamo, SAN, for the opportunity to serve in the Renewed Hope administration, and dedicated the award to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In his welcome address, the host of the event, Fadilat As-Sheikh Imam Akorede, commended Alhaji Osagie for his selflessness and unwavering commitment to the propagation of Islam through philanthropic efforts. He stated that both the Ridwanullahi Ak’bar Society and the Imam Akorede Foundation would continue to appreciate and cherish his contributions to the service of Almighty Allah.
