Alhaji Maruf Salimonu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Haminet Motors Limited, Abuja, has received the Community Development Service Award from Democracy Newsline Newspaper.

He received the prestigious award alongside other deserving notable Nigerians during the 15th Anniversary Public Lecture and Awards Ceremony held yesterday at the Banquet Hall, National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.

The recognition highlights the  commitment of Alhaji Maruf of  giving back to the community and society at large.

Salimonu’s philanthropic efforts were previously showcased when he donated a school bus to Medinatul-Irfan Academy in Okene, Kogi State.

The donation aimed to support the school and its students, enhancing their transportation needs and facilitating the movement of students.

This gesture demonstrates Salimonu’s dedication to promoting education and welfare of students, aligning with his company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.
