Amb. Gabriel Abinu holds reception in honour of Gov. Ododo’s appointees, Lokoja LGA Chairman, others

A renowned international tennis Coach Amb. Gabriel Abinu has honoured some appointees of Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Lokoja Local Government Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu and many other personalities of Lokoja Club 1901.

Amb. Abinu, who was highly elated with the appointment of some key figures to serve in the present administration in Kogi State noted that it was well deserved expressing optimism that, their wealth of experience will make a positive impacts in Kogi State.

Represented by Chief Raymond Ezenwajiaku, the young Philanthropist admonished them to remain focused towards achieving the mandate of their Principal.

Amb. Abinu argued that the crops of appointees under the present administration in Kogi State are well grounded technocrats with unquestionable background in governance.

He charged them not disappoint the confidence reposed in them by the Governor, stressing that, they should continue to support policies of Government that will bring about meaningful development in Kogi State.

Amb. Abinu promised to do more for his people at the grassroot adding that, leaving a lasting legacy of development at all level remains his top priority.

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to God and His Excellency, the people’s servant Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the recent appointments, adding that he also acknowledged all attendees for their unwavering support and dedication to community development.

“Am not shocked to see the appointment of this erudite personalities under our amiable Chief Servant of Kogi State Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. With this, the future of our dear State is guaranteed as am optimistic that they will make a better input for the development of Kogi State”he stated.

Responding, the President, Lokoja Club 1901 Alhaji Abdulfatah Abdulkarim (Karinat) described Amb. Abinu as a perfect gentle Man whose contributions to humanity can not be over emphacized.

According to him ” Amb. Abinu is a great Man and a leader who has impacted positively to the society. He has been giving back to the society that made him which is highly commendable. Recently, he sank bore holes for the provision of portable drinking water for the People of Lokoja and it environs. Also, he has continued to empower our Youths to get out of the street and become self reliant.

“Moreover, as part of his commitment to improve our education system in Kogi State, he purchased over 100 JAMB form for students in Kogi State. What else can we say but to say a big thank you to a selfless leader in our generation.

Dignitaries present at the occasion includes, Hon Suleiman Aguye, House of Representative members representing,Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon Bin Ebaiya Shehu, Tijani, member representing Lokoja I, Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Patricia, Vice Chairperson, Lokoja Local Government, Hon Yahaya Faruk, Kogi State Commissioner for Water resources, Hon Rahmat, Councilor Ward B, Hon Isah Haruna, Formal House of Representative member, representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency.

Others are High Chief Femi Ajisafe (Member, Fiscal Responsibility Commission), High Chief Comrade Tom Abutu (Member, Fiscal Responsibility Commission), Chief Alh. Alhassan Ada Hussaini (Permanent Member 2, Kogi State Secondary Education), and Hon. Idris Musa (DG Mineral Resources, Kogi State), Hon Mohammed Shaba Kupa, SSA to Governor, Hon Abubakar Danjuma, Secretary Lokoja Local Government, Hon Maikudi Beture APC Chairman, Lokoja Local Government amongst others.

The reception not only honored the achievements of the new appointees but also highlighted the invaluable contributions of Ambassador Gabriel Abinu and his foundation in fostering unity and progress within Lokoja and kogi state at large.
