APC Youth Coalition Congratulates Leke Abejide on Yagba Federal Constituency Primary Win
The National APC Youth Coalition (NAYC) has congratulated Hon. Leke Abejide on emerging as the All Progressives Congress candidate for Yagba Federal Constituency in the party’s just concluded primaries.
In a statement signed by Director General Aiyelabowo Adebanji Austin and National Coordinator Charles Osagie, the coalition described the victory as a reflection of Abejide’s grassroots engagement and track record in office.
“This victory is a clear testament to your unwavering commitment to grassroots development, quality representation, and the immense confidence reposed in your leadership by party faithful and the good people of Yagba Federal Constituency,” the statement read.

NAYC highlighted Abejide’s work in education, youth empowerment, infrastructure, and human capital development as factors that set him apart. The group said the projects and programs linked to his office have distinguished him as a lawmaker with “genuine passion for the progress of the people.”
The coalition expressed confidence that his candidacy would strengthen APC’s chances in the general election and ensure continued delivery of democratic dividends to Yagba constituents.
“We pray for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance as you continue this journey of service to humanity and the development of Yagba Federal Constituency,” the statement added.
Abejide won the primary with 20,002 votes, defeating Babagbemi Adejola Joseph who polled 842 votes, according to results collated across Yagba East, Yagba West, and Mopamuro Local Government Areas.
