Asiwaju Prince Dr Olatunji Olusoji Receives Prestigious Title of ‘Agba Akin’ at 2025 Ijumu Cultural Festival, 30 Million Naira Donation by Agba Akin Signals Brighter Future for Ijumu Kingdom’s Development

Ijumu Kingdom was filled with pomp and pageantry as Asiwaju Prince Dr Olatunji Olusoji was honoured with the title of “Agba Akin” during the 2025 Ijumu Cultural Festival. The newly installed Agba Akin of Ijumu kingdom received this prestigious title in recognition of his impactful activities and contributions to the development of individuals and communities within the kingdom and beyond.

During his acceptance speech, Asiwaju Prince Dr Olatunji Olusoji expressed his gratitude to the traditional rulers and the entire Ijumu community for the honour bestowed upon him. He promised to continue his efforts in attracting a better life for the people of Ijumu kingdom and ensuring the overall development of the kingdom.

In a show of his commitment to the advancement of the Ijumu kingdom, Asiwaju Prince Dr Olatunji Olusoji generously donated 30 million Naira towards various development projects at the Ijumu Cultural Festival. His contribution is expected to make a significant impact on the growth and prosperity of the kingdom.

Furthermore, Asiwaju Prince Dr Olatunji Olusoji called on the people of Ijumu to remain united, focused, and strategic in their pursuits, urging them to avoid confrontational approaches in achieving their goals, particularly in the quest for an Okun governorship.

The annual Ijumu Cultural Festival also had in attendance several dignitaries, including the Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, who was represented by the Director General Government House Administration, Dr. Shuaibu Umar Oricha. Other notable guests included Kogi LGAG Dr. Isiaka Adabenege, Chairman of the Occasion Engr. Olatunji Olusoji, Chief Fundraiser Arc Salman Idris, Hon. Sunday Faleke, Hon. Omotayo Ishaya, Dr. Fashagba Paul Femi, and Hon. Funsho Olumoko, DG of the Ijumu Cultural Festival.

The event was a celebration of culture, tradition, and unity, highlighting the rich heritage of the Ijumu people and the dedication of individuals like Asiwaju Prince Dr Olatunji Olusoji in advancing the kingdom.
