In a statement made available to newsmen, Dr. Olatunji Olusoji is expected to be installed by His Royal Majesty, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche, at his palace in Idah, the traditional headquarters of the Igala Kingdom, Idah Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The renowned business mogul and community leader has been a strong supporter of security initiatives in Kogi State. He previously donated security surveillance vehicles to assist security agencies in combating crime and recently contributed ₦99 million to the Kogi State Security Trust Fund to bolster security operations across the state.

These contributions, according to stakeholders, have demonstrated Dr. Olusoji’s unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of Kogi citizens.

The Asiwaju of Ayere Kingdom has also contributed to the growth and development of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, and Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa, by providing scholarships to over 100 students in both institutions.

Worthy of note, and which Kogites believe earned the philanthropist the installation, is the ₦15 million he donated to sponsor 100 students at the College of Education for three years, ₦15 million to the College of Agriculture, Kabba, and ₦30 million to Anglican College of Nursing and Health Technology, Ogidi, Ijumu LGA.

The honour on Asiwaju Olatunji Olusoji by the Atta Igala is in recognition of the Ayere-born philanthropist who has contributed immensely to the growth and development of not only Kogi State, but Nigeria at large.

Asiwaju Olatunji Olusoji’s contributions have spread across the three senatorial districts of Kogi State, as thousands of Kogites have reported benefiting from his grassroots development initiatives, which have earned him this honour.
