Certified BDSP Aina Oladipo Michael Welcomes the Establishment of Bank of Industry in Kogi State

…Commends the Governor’s Leadership and Calls on Businesses, Investors to Embrace New Opportunities.

Lokoja, Kogi State — April 18, 2025

Aina Oladipo Michael, a Certified and Licensed Business Development Service Provider (BDSP) from Kogi State, has officially commended the establishment of Bank of Industry (BOI) office in Kogi State, describing it as a major milestone for the economic development of the State.

The Bank of Industry’s presence will unlock unprecedented access to affordable financing, capacity building, and business support services for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Large Enterprise, and captains of industry across Kogi State. This strategic move is expected to stimulate industrial growth, encourage entrepreneurship, create jobs, and ultimately drive sustainable development.

Speaking on the development, Aina Oladipo Michael stated,
“The establishment of the Bank of Industry in Kogi State marks a new dawn for businesses in our State. Entrepreneurs, SMEs, and even large industry players now have easier access to funding, advisory services, and technical support needed to scale and thrive. I encourage all business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to seize this golden opportunity to expand, innovate, and contribute to the economic transformation of Kogi State.”

This landmark achievement aligns with His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, The Executive Governor of Kogi State, broader agenda on economic diversification, youth empowerment, and industrialization, reaffirming Kogi State’s commitment to building a vibrant economy driven by private sector participation.

He further called on captains of industry across Nigeria and beyond to consider Kogi State as the next destination for investment and business expansion, highlighting the state’s strategic location, abundant resources, improving infrastructure, and now, a strengthened financial support system through the BOI and also a Business Oriented Governor who understands what the people needs and striving to make sure he provides a conducive environment for ease of doing business in the State.

“Kogi State is ready for business,” he emphasized. “With the Bank of Industry now at our doorstep, the environment is even more conducive for investment. We welcome investors from all sectors, agriculture, manufacturing, technology, mining, and more to partner with us in building a prosperous future.”

“My Governor, Our Governor, Kogi’s Pride, His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ododo has broken the bottleneck in Kogi State Investment drive, Kogi State is fast becoming the heartbeat of commerce and industry in Nigeria. I call on industry owners and investors to come, invest, and be part of the success story unfolding here,” he added.

Aina Oladipo Michael reassured businesses and potential investors that as a certified BDSPs his available to provide professional support in business plan development, loan application packaging, investment advisory, and access to various BOI funding windows.
