He extended heartfelt condolences to Distinguished Senator Abdulrahman Kawu Sumaila, Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, Member of the House of Representatives, as well as the good people of Bunkure Local Government Area.

Hon. Bala also commiserated with Prof. Yahaya Isah Bunkure and the entire members of the New APC Ambassadors in Bunkure, describing the late Alhaji Gurjiya as “an honest and trustworthy gentleman whose contributions to the success of our association and the APC family will be deeply missed.”

He disclosed that the deceased passed away in Saudi Arabia after a brief illness, noting that his demise was a great loss not only to his family and the APC in Bunkure but also to the entire political community in Kano State.

“Alhaji Rabi’u Halliru Gurjiya was not just a dedicated party leader, but a loyal and committed grassroots mobiliser who devoted his life to the service of his people and the development of our great party, the APC,” Hon. Bala Salihu Dawakin Kudu said.

“While we had all hoped and prayed for his safe return, Allah, in His infinite wisdom, has chosen to call him to rest in the Holy Land — indeed, a noble and blessed end,” he added.

On behalf of himself and the 44 local government coordinators of the New APC Ambassadors, Hon. Bala extended his deepest condolences to the deceased’s family, the APC leadership in Bunkure, and the good people of the area.

He prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, reward his good deeds, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus, while also granting his family, friends, and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and give his family, friends, and associates the strength to bear this great loss,” Hon. Bala Salihu Dawakin Kudu prayed.
