Chairman of Kogi Forum of Special Advisers to the Governor, Omoluabi visits Kabba Football Club, promises support and announces yearly football competition sponsorship
Earlier today, the Chairman Forum of Special Advisers to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon Bode Adeyemi(Omoluabi) paid an unscheduled visit to the All Stars Football Club of Kabba on their training field to identify with them and support them as an important group in they’ll community.
While addressing them, Omoluabi commended them for organizing themselves for engaging young people in the society, he said they are a beacon of hope for the young people growing against the scourge of drug abuse, cultism and general social vices.
The Special Adviser said football assisted his generation to get focused, united him with his age group and gave them the fast exposure of traveling for competitions. He said sports have the potential and ability to keep every young person busy while growing, he said Kabba community is desirous of a future that has people who are blessed and well to do, which can only come through the young people today if they get it right while growing.
He promised the football team of his support henceforth and assured them of drawing the political class to their benefits for more coordinated football clubs that would help keep young people busy. The elated Omoluabi announced his readiness and that of other stakeholders to sponsor yearly football competitions starting from this year.
He seized the opportunity to call on well meaning people in the society to support sports as a means of redirecting young people away from social vices.
