Chief Olorunsuwa Elijah Ola Gives Account of Stewardship as He Concludes 4-Year Tenure as Oke-Offin Development Association President
The National President of Oke-Offin Development Association (ODA), Chief Olorunsuwa Elijah Ola, has reflected on four years of service, highlighting achievements and expressing gratitude to members.
In a valedictory speech, Chief Olorunsuwa credited God for guidance and blessings, acknowledging the challenges of serving the community. He listed notable achievements, including government interventions like borehole sinking, classroom renovation, and market shop construction.
Other achievements include town hall renovation, cultural re-invigoration, youth summit hosting, and education sensitization. He also mentioned financial updates, stakeholders’ meetings, and conflict resolution efforts.
Ongoing projects include drainage construction and anticipated boreholes from Lower Niger Basin Development Authority. Chief Olorunsuwa thanked members for their support, citing the association’s 51-year history.
