Commander Omodara Preaches Unity, Says Kogi APC Ready to Sweep 2027 Polls
Says “Under Governor Ododo’s Leadership, Kogi Will Lead the Charge for President Tinubu’s Historic Re-Election Victory”
The Security Adviser to the Kogi State Government, Commander Jerry Omodara, has declared that the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State remains a united and indivisible political force under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, assuring that the state is fully prepared to deliver overwhelming victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Omodara made the declaration while addressing party stakeholders and supporters at the collation centre for the Kogi West Senatorial Primaries in Kabba, where he emphasized that the growing unity, discipline, and coordination within the ruling party have continued to strengthen its dominance across the state.

According to him, Governor Ododo has demonstrated purposeful leadership and remarkable political inclusiveness capable of sustaining the APC’s winning momentum ahead of future elections.
He noted that party faithful across the three senatorial districts have remained resolute in defending the collective interest of the party and consolidating on the achievements of the current administration.
The Security Adviser further stated that Kogi State has become a strategic pillar in the national political structure of the APC, stressing that the state will distinguish itself through massive grassroots mobilization, loyalty, and unprecedented electoral support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
He urged party members to remain steadfast, united, and committed to the progressive ideals of the APC.
It will be recalled that Hon. Samuel Aro announced his withdrawal a day before the senatorial primary, following the intervention of President Bola Tinubu, which cleared the way for incumbent Senator Sunday Karimi to secure the party’s return ticket to the Senate.
