DR ADE BEBEYI CONGRATULATES FORMER GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO ON FEDERAL HIGH COURT BAIL, COMMENDS GOVERNOR ODODO FOR HIS VISIONARY LEADERSHIP

DR ADE BEBEYI CONGRATULATES FORMER GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO ON FEDERAL HIGH COURT BAIL, COMMENDS GOVERNOR ODODO FOR HIS VISIONARY LEADERSHIP

The Chairman, CEO of Bebeyi Merchant, Abuja and community leader, Dr Ade Bebeyi has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello over his bail granted by the Federal High Court, Abuja, describing the decision of the court as laudable.

In a message signed and made available to newsmen in Abuja, the elder statesman commended the Judiciary for applying the doctrine of granting bail to the governor, after due diligence, that he has pleaded not guilty. He pointed out that it was an indication that there is light at the end of the tunnel and for justice to prevail in the alleged case instituted against the former Governor by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

He said though it is the right thing for the anti graft agency to ask questions on his activities while in office but praised the former Governor’s accomplishments during his years as Governor, a feat that saw to the building of a modern Kogi State in terms of infrastructure development, He commended him for the positive ratings the state enjoyed from financial institutions that scored the State high in prudent use of resources and transparency.

In another development, Dr Bebeyi has commended Gov. Usman Ododo for his visionary leadership of consolidating on the achievements of Alhaji Yahaya Bello who transformed the state within the space of 8 years in office especially the establishment of two state universities, Reference Hospital, Okene, Lokoja flyover bridge and others too numerous to mention.

He said Governor Ododo has shown to be a worthy successor.
