Dr. Bryhm Folabora Foundation: A Beacon of Hope and Compassion to Humanity

The Dr. Folabora Bryhm Foundation has become a prominent figure in humanitarian and philanthropic activities in Kogi State and beyond. Founded by the esteemed Dr. Folabora Bryhm, the Foundation has consistently provided relief, empowerment, and hope to those in need, particularly in the areas of education, youth development, and community support. Through a series of impactful initiatives, the foundation has significantly touched lives and transformed communities.

His remarkable humanitarian deeds range from supporting widows and orphans to providing scholarships, organizing youth programs, and engaging in direct cash giveaways to support his immediate community and disadvantaged members of society.

Empowering Widows and the Less Privileged

One of the core missions of the Dr. Folabora Bryhm Foundation has been to support widows and the less privileged. Widows, many of whom are left in precarious financial situations after the loss of their husbands, often face societal stigma and economic hardship. The foundation has consistently provided cash donations and assistance to widows helping to lift them out of poverty and provide them with the resources needed to care for themselves and their children.

Dr. Bryhm’s commitment to this cause was evident when he supported support widows in Bunuland during the Yuletide period, offering direct financial assistance to alleviate their burdens.

Football Competitions for Youth Development

Recognizing the importance of youth development, Dr. Bryhm and the foundation recently organized Football competition for the youth in Bunuland. The competition provide a platform for young people to showcase their talents, engage in healthy competition, and develop life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and discipline. The foundation’s focus on sports as a vehicle for youth development is in line with Dr. Bryhm’s belief that young people should be encouraged to reach their full potential in all areas of life.

Condolence Visit and Payment of School Fees for the Children of Late Sunday Aiyedero

One of the foundation’s most notable interventions occurred in the aftermath of the tragic murder of Sunday Aiyedero, a member of the Odo-Ape, Community. In response to the devastating loss, Dr. Bryhm through his foundation made a condolence visit to the bereaved family, offering both emotional and financial support during a time of grief.

Dr. Bryhm went above and beyond by committing to the full payment of the school fees for the children of the late Aiyedero. This act of kindness helped alleviate the financial burden on the family and ensured that the children were able to continue their education without interruption. The foundation’s support for the Aiyedero family serves as a reminder of the importance of community solidarity and the role of leaders in offering support during times of crisis.

Empowering People Through Payment of School Fees and Cash Giveaway

Recently, Dr. Folabora Bryhm through his foundation launched an initiative aimed at empowering the Okun people through direct financial support. This initiative was carried out via the *Okun Youth for Change and Bunu Peoples Forum WhatsApp platforms*, where Dr. Bryhm gave *cash gifts* to individuals within the Okun community to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the death of his Father, Late Pa Jacob Braimoh Owoyemi (JBO). This program benefited both the young and old. Notably, a final year student of Federal University Lokoja School fees was paid through the initiative via Okun Youth for Change Platform.

Scholarship For Students in Anyigba

Education has always been at the heart of Dr. Bryhm’s philanthropic efforts. In recognition of the critical role that education plays in shaping the future of young people and in a remarkable display of generosity and commitment to education, the Folabora Bryhm Foundation commemorate the 20th anniversary of the death of the Founder’s Father, Late Pa Jacob Braimoh Owoyemi (JBO).
recently embarked on monumental philanthropic gestures in Kogi East Senatorial District where the Foundation paid the school fees of top-performing students, orphans, and underprivileged children in Elegant Science Academy, Anyigba.

These scholarships have helped to relieve the financial burden on families and enabled students to pursue their studies with a focused mind.

Cash Giveaway to Bunu Students via BSU WhatsApp Platform

The Dr. Folabora Bryhm Foundation has consistently supported students within Bunuland, particularly those connected to the Bunu Students’ Union (BSU). Dr. Bryhm through his foundation organized cash giveaways through the Bunu Students’ Union National Secretariat WhatsApp platform, where he provided students with financial gifts.

This initiative was benefited by scores of students amid fanfare and fun.

His humanitarian gestures are not limited to the aforementioned initiatives. Dr. Bryhm’s foundation has been involved in a wide range of humanitarian deeds, aimed at improving the well-being of individuals and communities.
