Dr. Folabora Bryhm Condemns the Killings in Odo-Ape, Bunu by Gunmen, Calls for Enhanced Security and Justice
In a strong statement of condemnation, Dr. Folabora Bryhm, the renowned philanthropist and founder of the Dr. Folabora Bryhm Foundation has expressed deep concern over the recent killings of two individuals in Odo-Ape, Bunu. The victims, Sunday Aiyedero and a Tiv man resident in Odo-Ape, were tragically murdered by unknown gunmen, sending shockwaves through the peaceful community and its neighborhood.
Dr. Bryhm, in his statement, condemned the brutal killings and called on both the Bunu people and the Government at all levels to take immediate action to address the growing security concerns in the area.
According to him, such senseless violence has no place in any community and must be met with swift justice.
“I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives in Odo-Ape,” Dr. Bryhm stated. “The killings of Sunday Aiyedero and the Tiv man are deplorable acts that have ruffled the foundation of our peaceful community. We must come together, as a people and as a government, to ensure that those responsible for these horrible crimes are brought to justice.”
“I commiserate with the families of the victims and the Odo-Ape Community. We will not allow these acts of violence to define us. Together, we will ensure that justice is served and that Odo-Ape, along with the rest of Kabba/Bunu and Kogi state by extension, is a safe place for all its residents,” Dr. Folabora concluded.
