In his statement, Dr. Folabora described the event as deeply saddening. He called on the Kogi State Government to quickly mobilize emergency and relief agencies to help ease the impact on the victims. He pointed out that, given the current economic situation, immediate support is crucial for those affected to begin recovering.

“I stand with the victims of this unfortunate event,” Dr. Folabora said. “We must come together as a community to help those who are suffering. I urge the government and caring individuals to act quickly in providing relief.”

He also prayed for strength and resilience for everyone affected. He expressed hope that, with God’s assistance, their losses will be restored in many ways.
