Tinubu and Ododo Have Constitutional Rights to Seek Second Term, Says Hon Alfred Bello

Kabba – Hon Alfred Bello has urged Kogi West to unite and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Usman Ododo for a second term, citing their constitutional eligibility and electability.

Speaking at the Kogi West FGYB Legacy Stakeholders Meeting in Kabba, Bello emphasized the need for unity in Kogi West, referencing the 2011 governorship race where Ebira nationality stepped aside for a consensus candidate from Kogi West and Central.

Bello praised former Governor FGYB’s legacy, highlighting his achievements, including appointing a Chief of Staff and Deputy Governor from the same tribe, promoting women in government, and establishing two universities during his tenure.
