Dr. Mark Danung has describes Chief Garba Pwul,SAN,PhD as a Living Legal Legend.
He made the statement in a congratulatory message sent to this medium on the collection of his PhD Certificate at the prestigious university of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.
Dr. Pwul graduated last year, 2025.
According to Dr. Danung, Dr. Pwul is his mentor from whom he learned the rubrics of private legal practice.
Pwul, who is the first Senior Advocate of Nigeria of Plateau State extraction was called into Bar in 1982.
He has, over the years, been consistent in private legal practice and, in 2011, he became the first SAN of the Plateau State extraction; he is also the first practising SAN of the Plateau State extraction to obtain a PhD.
He has mentored and trained many others, some of whom are now Justices of the superior Courts of record and accomplished academics.
He is a role model to lawyers and other Youths in Plateau State and beyond.
Dr. Pwul’s recent academic achievement will spur others to achieve more feats and add feathers to their caps.
According to Dr. Danung, Dr. Pwul’s achievement is a tip of the iceberg, as he is determined to reach the zenith of his academic pursuit.
Indubitably, the Legal luminary has written his name in the sands of time and his remarkable achievements will continue to ring in the minds of so many people.
The success is worthy of emulation by all and sundry.
