Education and Security,Tops as APC Councillorship candidate, for Lamingo Ward,reel out manifestos.
Hon. Atsen I. Izang, popularly known as Top 9 took time to reel out his plans for Lamingo Ward if elected as a Councillor.
Im Atsen I zang,I hailed from Katon Rikkos, Rikkos/Kwanga District, Lamingo Ward in Jos North Local Government Area.
I went to Primary school between 1990 to 1995. Then Proceeded to Government Secondary School Lamingo and Mount Olive Secondary School and I finished my Secondary School in 2002. I then proceeded to the University of Jos,Centre for Continue Education where I obtained Certificate in Public administration

How have you been faring?
Atsen. I have been actively engaged in Politics and Community service especially at the Afizere Youth Movement (AYM) level where I served as a secretary twice at the District’s level and later served as P.R.O at the local Government Branch.
Again,I have been coaching for so many years now,I’m a football coach and I have Coached a team that represented Lamingo Ward twice at the Izere nation’s league.
I have also undergone some special coaching trainings and to the glory of God,the impact is now transmitted to our Community and two of our Youths are making it in life,one of them is now the Assistant coach of mighty jet football club in Jos that’s Joseph Bindip while Inah Isha was also playing with same mighty Jet but now he is in overseas.
Honestly,I have a great passion for the Youths and I have seen a lot of potentials in football and it is an opportunity for for employment either venturing in officiating as referees or playing and coaching,I have been doing my best in that regard. I equally served in several offices in political arena.
I was the personal Assistant to the Former Councilor of Lamingo Ward,in person of Pastor Izang Furaka, i was also the coordinator of VOLA that’s Vote Lalong Again in Lamingo Ward.
The Councillorship Hopeful said his dreams and ambitions if elected will hinged on three points agenda.
First and foremost,I will offer myself as a good representative and I will initiate interactions with my people and regular engagements because,I’m highly connected to Lamingo Ward, District,Jos North LGA and Izere as a whole,I will bring that into bear and it will go along way in enabling me to familiarized myself with the needs and yearnings of my people and present them to the Council,also make bye laws in that regard that will have direct impacts on Lamingo Ward,my presence will always be felt at the grassroot.
He further reritates that through such regular and constant engagements,we will be getting feelers and first hand information that will enable us to formulate policies and bye laws.
Security is everybody’s business,hence, we will give it priority,I have served in my Community as Neighborhood watch officer and I’m very familiar with the security dynamics in our communities and that led to the fighting of social vices to less minimum,we will equip the neighborhood watch,Hunters, Vigilantes and other security outfits with the necessary equipment.
I will also fund education,based on my research,we have about four public and community secondary schools and six primary schools within the ward and I have gone round on inspection and my research have shown that we have inadequate teachers and the traditional chalk board causes cancer,we will replace such obsolete ones with the modern white boards and other learning equipment that will enhance learning.
