Eid-el-Adha: Ex-Speaker Matthew Kolawole Felicitates Muslim Ummah
The immediate past Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Olushola Kolawole, has extended his warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-el-Adha, stressing that the significant celebration marks a time of spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and devotion to the will of Allah.
In his message, Prince Kolawole emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and love among all Nigerians, regardless of their faith or background. He noted that Eid-el-Adha serves as a reminder of the values of compassion, empathy, and kindness that are essential to building a harmonious society.
The former Speaker expressed his appreciation to President Bola Tinubu, Governor Usman Ododo, Former Governor Yahaya Bello and other Muslim leaders and the entire Muslim community for their contributions to the development of the nation.
He acknowledged their role in promoting peace, understanding, and coexistence.
Prince Kolawole wished the Muslim Ummah a joyous Eid-el-Adha celebration, praying for their continued prosperity, progress, and happiness.
He urged them to remain steadfast in their faith and to continue to work towards the betterment of society.
